Sunday School

Our children attend Sunday School from 9:15-10:15 A.M., before Sunday worship from early September to the end of May, with no classes during the summer months. The Sunday School consists of two classes, Primary and Intermediate. Approximately eighteen students are enrolled in the Sunday school. Sunday School classes are team taught.

Babies and toddlers are cared for in a nursery during Sunday school and during the church service until communion, at which point the children come to the sanctuary to experience Holy Eucharist with their families.

The children of the Sunday School have performed contemporary chancel musical dramas during the Sunday worship service. A covered dish lunch follows these performances. Other events in recent years have included an Easter egg hunt and a picnic with the congregation.

Youth Group

In the fall of 2002, a youth group of approximately nine young people in the sixth grade and higher started meeting again. The group usually meets semi-monthly on Sundays after church. Their initial project was a successful winter clothing drive for the community. The group also produces the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper. Additional projects are expected to be developed. Group activities also include recreation, such as skating and bowling.
